Joslins are a fully equipped Company of stonemasons with over 100 years experience of stone conservation, restoration, specialist cleaning and commemorative plaques however, their main area of expertise lie in the conservation and restoration of ancient buildings, historic monuments, churches, cathedrals, stately homes and colleges.
Joslins craftsmen have been involved in some of the countries most prestigious conservation and restoration projects, including the restoration and conservation of the fire damaged stonework at Windsor Castle for which they were awarded the Royal Warrant, the restoration of South Nave Aisle and Clerestory of Chichester Cathedral, the cleaning and conservation of Waddesdon Manor's ornate elevations and the restoration of Sir Winston Churchill's family grave plot at Bladon in Oxfordshire.
Joslins are one of the very few masonry companies that remain committed to operating an apprenticeship training programme which is run in conjunction with the C.I.T.B. Our apprentices are trained in line with modem techniques complementing their traditional hand crafted skills.
